1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser when you visit it. Among other things, they remember your choices, keep the site working properly and produce usage statistics. The website slotravecasino.ie (the “Website”) also uses the browser’s local storage (localStorage), which keeps small pieces of information on your device in a similar way but without sending them to the server with every request. In this Statement, cookies and localStorage entries are together called “cookies”.

No. 336 of 2011). Regulation 5 requires your prior, informed consent before information is stored on, or accessed from, your device, unless this is strictly necessary to provide a service you have expressly asked for. Where information collected through cookies can identify a person directly or indirectly (for example, an IP address linked to browsing activity), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018 also apply, as described in our Privacy Statement. In line with the Data Protection Commission’s guidance on cookies, this page explains what we set, why and for how long — and non-essential cookies are only used if you accept them through the cookie banner shown on the Website.

The Website deliberately uses very few cookies. They are:

The Website does not use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies. If new cookies are introduced in the future, this Statement and the cookie banner will be updated first, and your consent will be requested for any cookies that are not strictly necessary.
4. Your Consent — the Cookie Banner
On your first visit to the Website, a cookie banner gives you a clear choice: Accept or Reject. Both options are given equal prominence. Strictly necessary cookies work whatever you choose, because the Website cannot function properly without them; they do not collect information for commercial purposes. All other cookies are only used if you choose Accept. Your decision is stored in the cookie_consent entry for 12 months, after which the banner will ask you again. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the Website’s data in your browser (see section 5), which will make the banner appear again on your next visit.

Each browser maker also publishes step-by-step instructions on its support pages. Please note that blocking all cookies may stop parts of the Website from working properly — for example, the Website will no longer be able to remember that you have already answered the cookie banner.
6. Third Parties and Data Sharing
Information stored by our own cookies is not shared with third parties. Where static resources (such as script or style libraries) are delivered through a third-party content delivery network (CDN), that provider may technically process your IP address in order to serve the file; any such processing is governed by the provider’s own privacy policy, and any international transfer of data for which we are responsible complies with Chapter V GDPR, as explained in our Privacy Statement.
7. Complaints — Data Protection Commission
If you believe our use of cookies breaches the GDPR, the Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018 or S.I. No. 336 of 2011, please contact us first at support@slotrave.com so we can put things right. 8. Changes to This Statement
We may update this Cookie Statement to reflect changes in the law, guidance from the Data Protection Commission or changes in the technologies the Website uses. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the latest update shown at the top.
